Norse Mythology Inspired Fashion

Description

Alright, so last year for camp I drew clothes based off of superheros, well this year I did clothing based off of animals from Norse Mythology.

Within these clothes I tried to capture both the personality that the animals gave off in their stories from the Eddas, but also the sort of way they were viewed by other characters in the mythology; such as other creatures and the gods and goddesses. Norse Mythology includes a wide range of animals that are included in stories, and I didn't draw representations of them all because I didn't have much time to draw, really. I don't think I'll ever finish this collection by drawing the rest, but these were pretty fun to do.

Yknow whatever animals are really Norse? Viking eagles, Norse owls, and Valkyrie hawks. The 3 creatures live on warrior bird island, a mountainous and valleyed island completely populated by many different birds, each species wielding a different kind of mideival weopan and helmet. Viking eagles wear those helmets with horns and wield small battle axes. Norse owls wear gold helmets without horns, and wield Norse swords and silver shields. Valkeryie hawks are the largest of the 3, and wear helmets with ram horns, and fight with huge battle axes and defend with large, golden shields.
